of Hei Sushi!

Well, apparently a person which is found in both of the pictures below treated the 4 of the current ALterisk '08 adhoc team to Hei Sushi!

After an intense afternoon of cutting, laminating, tying and stuff, we, especially me, planned to go to Hei Sushi at downtown for a so-called bonding dinner. And it turned out that a goo-hearted friend of ours paid for us! I felt bad cos I ordered lots of stuff. hurhur. I'm into sushi, but not the raw ones. Just those California maki, ebi, softshell and my new taste addiction, eel. Oh and of course shitake.

Oh what happened to these people in the pictures?They are all happy and alive lah! We are going to have a Blood and Roses reunion summore! =)

Of sexy subcutaneous fat

If you wish to shed those extra pounds of fats around your hips and thighs (I know I do), well fret no more.

Today's Sunday Times (Singapore) revealed that subcutaneous fat is actually good in preventing diabetes! =)

If those evil slim people come up to you and commented "Oh my, what big thighs and hips you have", you can retort by saying "Well, look who's having a higher risk of getting diabetes?! You!". Don't forget to laugh maniacally.

But of course, too much of it is not good for your health too as it may increase your cholesterol level, dear. Just don't shed it too much till you become too skinny as then, you will not have armour to cushion you from any injury. Trust me, those fats have done me good. =)

Also, I would like congratualate the adhoc team of NIE ASEAN in doing a marvellous job at organising the 1st annual educational forum yesterday!

Of the world now.

I am very intrigued by this video showed by NUS Team 1 as part of their presentation for the Green Vision. They are still going ahead with their Eco Notion thingy as part of their real Eco activity!

Our NIE team led by Lauren and Huda as speakers talked about Saving the corals and the judge even mentioned one of our favourite lecturer, Prof BG to seek for funding. Hurhur. Photos later.

of sotong?

So how I spend our 10th month together?

Well Mr Hotshot won some silly stuff during our Bugis walkabout and that we dinner-ed at Kg Glam Cafe. It was a bit of a deja vu for me as during the Maal Hijrah, the same bazaar and DJ was around at the same place.

Then the DJ asked this: (In Malay, loosely translated) If fish wants to be a squid, and prawn wants to be a squid, what does the squid become?

Well it's just a play with words so the answer is actually, the squid becomes a LOT (banyak). -_-". He won $2, 5 small perfumes by Jamal Kazura and a mug by Bimla (a famous shop to order the Malay wedding souvenirs). Those perfumes smelled nice by the way. It's named Bintang Jawa (Jawa Star??).

When we were walking away, there are other riddles that were so easy to solve. Haha. But well, too shy lah.

It seems that I keep forgetting to take pictures together but the situation was awkward to take one. Oh well.
