Ahuh. So many things are happening right now that I forgot to rant on here. Finally managed to upload worthy pictures on my dA (read: deviantART).
Right. now let me start by saying..
Congrats! Idza is the new Miss NTU 2007. =). And thanks to you, I got addicted to Sheryl Crowe's First Cut is The Deepest and the song which the Modern Jazz club danced to, Last Night by P.Diddy feat. Keshia Cole. Oh and I heard another song titled Whine Up by Kat DeLuna. Kewl too!
Some of us left early. sad.
Also, congratulations to Huda for becoming the Hon. Gen. Sec in the 21st NTUMS exco. 2 other members from BnR are Hazwani as events manager and Saiful as her assistant. Congrats!!!! Well for me, I chose not to join. Yeah I know, sad. lol.
Anyways..If you avid readers remember, that I used to wonder if my prince charming to be has been crossing path with me before, and that I pray that he is in good health, wherever he was and that...oh you get my drift.
And to think that we did crossed path the first time during last year's NTUMS Mendaki Welcome Tea Appreciation. Well at that time, I WAS..err..blinded by someone. oh well.
So yeah. He is this hot biker boy named Isnin, and his misnomer is Nyno. Kinda fit him cos he part-timing at Kino though that's not the reason why the 'no' behind 'ny'. I refer him as nyny sometimes. heh. Most of the time it's "nin". Let me just say that us being together is so....unpredictable. The first time we saw each other, nothing and I mean NOTHING came across our mind, and we don't, I repeat, we don't talk. Even when we were in the committee, he was always absent as he had to attend work or Silat.
The first time we talked was..the time when S.A.K.H.Y.M went out together and Pu3 accidentally invited him along. So I have to thank her, and the production team of 'Jangan Pandang Belakang' for giving us a reason to watch and meet.
And yes, I don't blame our friends who get to know about our relationship. Up till now, I still hear them coming up to me, not him, but me, saying that they just can't believe their ears. Why? Well, for a start we are total opposites. He is damn bloody quiet, laidback and cool, while I'm the, uhh, boisterous, opinionated and disciplined one. I wonder if there is anyone who came up to him and said "WTH? Jannah?Of all people?" But I reckon there were only he does not wanna tell me, kan kan?
He is Melayu Melayu while me, the speaking ang moh one. He is good at Maths while I'm not. He is in 3rd year (direct entry to 2nd year) Environmental and Engineering (NTU) while I'm a 2nd year, Majoring in Biology and Minor-ing in English (NIE). Some things that we have in common are, both of us live in Bedok Reservoir Rd and only one stop away, were in the same comm and that both of us is in NTU. =). He hate onions while I love them, especially the Japanese ones. I love veggies and he doesn't (I know, I know, how can he does not fancy veggies right? He only eat the leafy type.)
Hmm. what more can I say? I love him and he loves me. Against all odds. Pray that this one works.

As usual, Dr Lum's class was very exciting, though we shall worry about what to study later as no formal notes were given. We went to the Botanic Gardens at 0830 hrs on a Friday morning. No joke.
First book by Linnaeus, the father who came up with the idea of naming plants and animals, in Latin.
My good poly friend had a housewarming cum birthday party. He lives in this cool chalet like house. A 3 stories house and damn tiring when we wanna climb up to his room which is on the 3rd floor. He has this dreamy hollywood-like room.
Have you ever had your moments when you feel that everything is in the wrong place? I'm feeling them right now.

I like fir trees. I fell in love even more with them during my first year first semester's module of plant diversity. So he brought me to Mount Faber and I was awed by the environment there. I did not know such 'garden' exist. heh. First time there.
Fir trees have the tendency to make me feel warm and fuzzy. They give out this snowy blurry aura around the environment. Made me feel like I'm not in Singapore. They love to grow on cold environment. Since Faber is on a 'mountain', hence the air there is more colder than normal ground level which gives out that humid sticky feeling we've been feeling since.
The first picture was editted by increasing the contrast colour. The next 2 are raw picture. =). Someone said to me that "It does not matter what camera you have. It depends on the person behind the camera". BUT a DSLR will be verrrrry nice to have!! *hint hint*
No matter how fairytale-like your love life is, there will always be the downs. And if we can pull through these lows together, it will be even more meaningful. Hold on tight. =)

First day of school was hilarious. And overwhelming for me. It seems that this time, there are sooo many people compared to the year that I came in. And the Western stall at NIE was superbly crowded and most food items ran out by 2pm already. RATS! Now I can't take late lunch.
Last Saturday, we ended our holidays by attending the Inspire-Treat. Since I can't stand sitting around doing nothing, Huda and me (by default) went to bbq all the stuff and what fun we had! With all the jokes and teasings. We were supervised by the funky Bro Nizar.
So back to first day of school. Slept during video viewing. haha. Everyone was in a holiday mood. Bought the most expensive book for the semester; $52.50 (Introducing Sociolinguistics). Went to NTU to crash sayang's lecture just to kill time and met Hafiz (old schoolmate) along the way. He was lost and he wanted to go to South Spine and that he thought South Spine was 'there' (pointing towards NIE). So I said that he have to go behind and walk back as he actually came FROM South spine and ended up at Canteen A. I showed him the way and off he went and bumped Ezran and asked him where the hell is LT4 =).
So there. I'm growing fatter because of Ben & Jerry's, My Tv Poppers and dinner with awak. I am so looking forward to eating fondue at Swensen's in a few hours' time.
