Hey Ya``
Basking in the glory of unemployment..but still bugged with the 'on-off' feeling of sick..then how to bake stuff and paint my room?!!!!!!!!!!
The minced meat that I bought 2 weeks ago is still frozen in the fridge..no idea if it can still be used or not..lol..have been eating porridge all the time as Doctor banned me from Chilli, Dairy and Oily food..but sometimes couldn't help it because mummy is not cooperating with her dishes and sometimes, I will force myself to cook the porridge lah..had to..
The journey to KL on Saturday morning the 17th was a very hair pulling experience..dahlah ade jam..abih plak tuh the driver take a longer route to reach KL as told by my aunts whom have seen a different route before..Imagine the journey was about 7 hours!!
Arrived in the hotel and was lost as the hotel is ABOVE the Shopping Centre..Soo troublesome to navigate sehh..and guess what, the hotel forgot to reserved our rooms so that was why we had to wait for almost an hour to check in..so our rooms are all over the place and we didn't fet any twins and triples..Imagines that my aunt had made the reservation over one month ago and that at the reception, auntie caught a glimpse of the fax sheet that our travel agent faxed over so basically, the hotel forgot about it..aiyah things like these happen lah..I know cos I did reservations before..no choice so need to share the king size bed with granny..
Ok now lemme show you the pics of my (with granny) hotel room at Berjaya Times Square..FYI the room also banyak benda rosak..the cable not working, the Air-Con filter was full of dust and had to call the repairman..mak oi..macam2..and it had to be MY ROOM?!!But of course I took advantage of the complimentary housekeeping like asking for Ironing and Hair Dryer..Actually checked with my aunts, they said that hair dryer was in the room but not in mine!!Oh Whatever..

Apparently the cash that I bought was not not enough..So I HAD TO find a cash machine with the logo 'MasterCard'..so hard sehh..all the ones that I found had the VISA logo..argghh..I did bring some SGDs but the exchange rate at the Shopping Centre and the hotel reception SUX!!Mahal gilerr..
Withdrew RM150 and used my Debit Card twice when purchasing at U2 and Debenhams..shopping time was not enough as we arrived so late at the hotel and so our plan to go to Petaling Street was cancelled..Bought 3 long skirts, 4 pairs of shoes (1 pair I wore and ade koyak sket so now it is being repaired at the shoeman shop..tampal extensions cos my feet ni macam GAJAH), 6 tops at U2, 2 starfish studded broodges at Debenhams (One big Starfush studded with purple gems for mummy and a smaller one studded with PINK gems for me..Aku tak reti pakai broodge BESAR2)
At KLCC, nothing to shop cos all are bloody expensive. The Malaysia Mega Sale is not on yet liao..so only bought some small things for Rad at 'Girls' shop, some socks and anak tudungs as well..
Oh btw Kenny Rodgers ROX!!If only they are Halal here..mugcowz..
Going broke soon as I ordered a Maxtor 60gb external hard disk at Singapore Post, using my small bro's name because of the student exclusive promotion worth S$199 only..paid for TWO doctors already and yet to buy paint for my room some more..
Can't wait to go to MWTAI this Sunday for the MAULUD!!MWTIAns..see you guys there yah

Fever.
Giddiness.
Lethargic.
Breathless.

What more can I say?Visited the Doctor already..my family will be going to JB for a short getaway this Sat again and that's why I went to the Doctor today. We will be staying there for one night at Hyatt Regency JB Hotel. I MUST GO!! If only my nausea will go away..bluekkkk

Few hours more and I will be 'coaching out' to KL..(originally should be jetting out)
Gonna wake up at 0430 hrs to fry some fishcakes cos granny is here..haiyah..stressful you know..granny came around 3 plus today and I only planned to cook simple2..but ended up she actually though I'm gonna cook a real dish..I told her yesterday that I cooked pizza and will reheat today..but the pizza today turned out a little 'un-yummy' so wanna give granny to eat but felt guilty as afraid that granny might have an upset stomach
When called her earlier she don't mind but when she arrived here..wahlao..she inspected my kitchen maan..she told me that just whip up sambal belachan, rice and egg can already...right now I still reek of belachan on my butterfly dress..my Mak Long (eldest aunt) will come in the evening but she is not fussy lah..granny called her to buy fish curry outside..I felt even more guilty..now I regretted by offering my granny to sleepover today..
My initial plan is not to mess up the house so much as my mummy and company will be arriving home tomorrow afternoon so I do not want to displease her..and I wll be waking up tomorrow cos I will be frying some fishcakes..told by my youngest aunt that the coach will not stop at any eating places so need to bring something and we have to be at the pick up place (Golden Mile Complex) by 7pm so by 6 must go out..I will need a total of 1.5 hrs to bathe, fry and get ready man..and I am doing these all for granny also as I do not want her to go around and say that I did not take care of her properly..
Haiyah..my granny ah..like to twist her words around..she will say..no need..and a minute later..she will say she want this and that..stress lah..even more stressful as mummy is not here to amuse her 24hrs..I think my mother in law will be better then her..I hope..hihihih
Luckily I finished packing as I anticipated that when granny is here, I will have no peace in packing as she will request this and that..no she is not bossy but sometimes, she does say hurtful things..
So yesterday, I conquered Ze Oven!!Look!!
I made 5 pieces of small size pizzas and the oven doens't even failed me once (read: short circuited my electricity as it happened so many times last year)..I baked all the 5 pizzas as I experienced before that the chicken salami, mozzarella cheese and the pizza bread, once opened, you can't store for long as fungus woll grow..so I cooked all lah..what to do..(need to go KL remember?so I do not want all those resources to be wasted)

Next, I will try to bake brownies and puffs as I have bought all the materials as well..oh and btw, I spent like $89.35 on baking ware + food + things-to-bake-and-cook at Giant PP..I was soo frustrated as I STILL can't find that pizza sauce that everyone claimed that they do have and I could't find a freaking piping bag..so I settled with grease paper (fold them to make into pressable-tube like bags)..maybe one of the days I shall visit Carrefour, cold storage or Liberty market..I even bought a ready made lasagne strips and minced meat..hope the minced meat will still be 'OK" when I come back..
I am also soo thankful that I discovered Oprah's talkshow on weekdays, channel5, 6-7pm and thanks to her, I will stop eating from 7.30pm onwards as shown in one of thee episodes about losing weight (except vacadion period where I WILL HAVE TO EAT EVERYTIME I SEE NICE FOOD..and will learn to appreciate my big nose more, thanks to an episode on plastic surgery..
My boredom is filled with lots of playing my cat, disturbing it and watching it sleep
My cat has nobody to entertain her as mummy is not around so she is very obedient with me. Once mummy is back, she don't even look at me you know..so arrogant..hmmph..
I am missing you badly, Di.. :'o(

Yeayness!!
Survived one whole week doing my friend who went on leave..did her bookings..Alhamdulillah it went smoothly..managed to solve all the problems that happened..According to my initial plan, wanted to resigned last Friday but my friend requested me to come on Monday to update her and stuff..pity her also cos she SELDOM take leave and she took last week as I have learnt how to do her bookings..Hopefully all will go well after I stopped
But now I extended my official last day till Tuesday instead..as this new gal taking over my place will be back on Tuesday and I felt that I have not coach her much because I was sooo busy doing my friend's work and only taught her teeny-weeny bit of my work to her..
After all those stress on Friday..doubled with another colleague on leave as she was unwell..I did a total of 3 people's work..wah like superwoman..lolness..but nevermind..stress now..holidays later..hahaha.."Susah-susah dahulu pendapatan, susah kemudian tiada gunanya"..
Mummy, stepdad and my 3 step siblings will be goin' Down Under tomorrow..their flight is at 0200hrs of 12th June 2006..I insisted on sending them to Airport as I am ver keen to walk around Airport as well but mummy said no need as she is concern of me going home at night..aiyah..dah biasa lah..they will only be going out of the house after Isyak..hmm...
So next week will be going solo..fuyoooh...Raaad..sleepover my house lah can?haha...my 2nd bro is at camp while eldest bro only come homw kejap je..then kluar lagiii..at least Monday and Tuesday I will be at work..maybe Tuesday night gonna catch a movie or sumting..Arrgh..longing to watch Over The Hedge, The X Men 3 and THe Omen!!Dammnn...I know most of you have watched those right?!!Arghh...ok maybe you guys just tell me the story in my comment box so I can get over it..want to buy them at KL takot kene tahan at Customs plak..heard that now can buy CDs but must be the original ones..
I unwined my Friday night by attending Khatim's advance birthday party..hehe..with Rad of cos..who else?sorry no pictures..maybe will steal some from tim's blog.....

Nah..went to her blog but she has not posted a new entry describing her party lah..sheez..oh nvm..
Tonnes of things to do..change S$300 (or S$250 maybe..going broke soon remember?!) to RM for my KL trip on this Saturday..Try to cook and bake simple stuff during this one week without anyone at home..pack the travel bag (Hate this part!The Berjaya Times Square Hotel BETTER HAVE AN IRONING FACILITIES)..buy paint after my KL trip..wait for NIE package to arrive and complete all the forms and stuff..Busy nyer..*Sigh*
Oklah..need to stop yapping here..althought I know some of you really like me yakking away..Really appreciate it leh u avid readers..you know who you are..*winks*..hehe..now need to search for mummy the prayer times in Perth..and to write those no-no emulsifiers cos she gonna buy lots of chocolates and NOUGATS!!

Not much to update..still waiting to find some time to watch X Men - The Last Stand, Over The Hedge, Cars, The Omen..Bla2..Arrghh....Thought of just buying all those DVDs in KL..provided that they have produced them lah..haizzz..
I'm going broke soon as I will be stopping my work to recuperate for my next journey in life..Am also rethinking about my decision to stay in a hostel..Hold my hand and walk with me through this journey ok Bloggers?!
Ehem..Khatim..still waiting for those Oishii recipes..hopefully I can make it to ur 21st bday party okies..
