Thanks to You..The Almighty~~
It's been a while since I last blogged. Been quite busy worrying about my acceptance letters, my sstudents and my poly results. Thank God I got a satisfied result, although there are still rooms for more improvements though. Today is Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) birthday so I hope it will bring Busyra (Good news in arab language) to me. The mailbox has not been checked upon yet and I'm over the edge right now. People..I hope U pray for my well being and as for me..I will continue praying..

TIRED
I'm Tired. A workaholic. My right eyelid is a little swollen but not the whole eyelid. I think because I keep drinking tea so my body is overheated. Luckily it's only the eyelid, eyeball not affected. But still it is painful to open my eyes man. Just bought eye mo. A little relieved I can say. At school no time to eat. Keep photocopying worksheets for the next class. Manage to only drink tea and eat fried wanton ball. Bought sausage and 2 banana fritters too but ended up eating them on the way home. Feeling paranoid abput my NTU/NIE application. Duuh. Sheesh.

LIFE AS A BIOTECHNOLOGY GRADUATE
FINALLY..my presentation came and went..IT WAS WELL DONE! Even our supervisor said that It was BETTER then expected..phew..because during the so called mock presentation..I SUCKED! And So I made a Comeback! Typical me huh..and anyway..after that..went to Geylang with my mummy to shop for long dresses for me to wear during my teaching..so today..I spent roughly about $100 on 3 Long dresses or Jubahs, 1 Long blouse (Punjabi Style), a pair of covered shoes and a trouser to wear under my dress..HeHe..I did not teach today as I had presentation but I brought my work home for tomorrow..need to prepare my teaching plan, listen to the audio for listening comprehension just to double check and need to vet (double check) the exam papers. I enjoy doing all these as it has always been my dream to teach..it is hard work but I've been through worse!

Ms Jannah
There's a new english teacher in da house!!..Ms Jannah..LOL..I thought I'm gonna be damn late..I went out of my house before 6.45..and the bus only arrived at 7pm and I have to be at the school by 7.30! So I arrived around 7.45...so it's quite OK..I hailed a cab actually..but I have not enough cash and when I asked the driver if I could use the debit card, he said that he has no more paper for the debt receipt!!! Wahlao!
The first thing that a student said to me was 'Teacher, you are very pretty'. The boy that said it was a P2 student. I just smiled.LOL. The next compliments I got were 'Teacher, your shoe is very nice' and 'Teacher, why are you smiling?'..LOL?! Handling the P2 students was very handful. I lost my voice as I keep shouting. By the time I got to P4, I can't even hear myself speaking because it was raining cats and dogs and all I could hear was the rain precipitating down. Luckily I will be frenn from 12 onwards everyday so I could prepare worksheets and the lesson plan that needs to be hand in every Monday. I also did some spring cleaning as there were a lot of stuff left behind from previous teachers.
Anyway..went to watch 'The Eye 10' with deary..it was a sad story..*sobs* with suspense and comedy hear and there. You all should watch it! So..gonna rest now and prepare to rise early for tomorrow.

Why We Muslims Do not Consume Pork.
Before I present to U bloghoppers about the Pork thingy..I wanna say..'Happy 16th Months too myslef and deary~~..Hope We could last forever Insya Allah..
Good Scientific Explanation
Bob: Tell me why is it that a Muslim is veryparticular about the words Halal and Haram; what do they mean?
Yunus: That which is permissible is termed Halaland that which is not permissible is termed Haram and it is the Quran which draws the distinction between the two.
Bob: Can you give me an example?
Yunus: Yes, Islam has prohibited blood of anytype. You will agree that a chemical analysis of blood shows that it contains an abundance of uric acid, a chemical substance which can be injuriousto human health.
Bob: You're right about the toxic nature of uric acid, in the human being it is excreted as a waste product and in fact we are told that 98% of thebody's uric acid is extracted from the blood by the kidneys and removed through urination.
Yunus: Now I think that you'll appreciate the special prescribed method of animal slaughter in Islam.
Bob: What do you mean?
Yunus: You see, the wielder of the knife, whilst taking the name of the 'Almighty', makes an incision through the jugular veins, leaving all other veins and organs intact.
Bob: I see, this causes the death of the animal by a total loss of blood from the body, rather than an injury to any vital organ.
Yunus: Yes, were the organs, example the heart, the liver, or the brain crippled or damaged, the animal could die immediately and its blood would congeal in its veins and would eventually permeate the flesh. This implies that the animal flesh would be permeated and contaminated with uric acid and therefore very poisonous; only today did our dieticians realize such a thing.
Bob: Again, while on the topic of food; Why do Muslims condemn the eating of pork or ham or any foods related to pigs or swine.
Yunus: Actually, apart from the Quran prohibiting the consumption of pork, bacon(pig flesh); in fact the Bible too. Further, did you know that a pig cannot be slaughtered at the neck for it does not have a neck; that is according to its natural anatomy. A Muslim reasons that if the pig was to be slaughtered and fit for human consumption the Creator would have provided it with a neck.Nonetheless, all that aside, I am sure you are well informed about the harmful effects of the consumption of pork, in any form, be it pork chops, ham, bacon.
Bob: The medical science finds that there is a risk for various disease as the pig is found to be a host for many parasites and potential diseases.
Yunus: Yes, even apart from that, as we talked about uric acid content in the blood, it is important to note that the pig's biochemistry excretes only 2% of its total uric acid content, the remaining 98% remains as an integral part of the body.

So Pissed
Supposed to have an internal presentation at 10 am with my supervisor. But he had a morning leave. April Fools?Nah. Just a misunderstanding with him and another group. Oh Man!so while waiting, me and Alvin watched 'A Walk to Remember'. I know it's a very old movie but I missed it, so I decided to watch it. It was SOOO touching and sad. Oh and the presentation was a bit sucky. Good News. I will be starting work as a relief teacher on Monday. They called me to come down for a briefing, but I couldnt, because of the meeting with my supervisor and luckily, they were so understandig..sigh..
